About this video

Here's a new process idea for SBS members to try out: I've turned the Small Business System into an annual calendar tracker in Baserow. Email me to access your own copy of the beta tracker.

The idea

Every 2 weeks we touch a different part of our systems. Spending 30–45 minutes neatening and organising files and JDex notes, etc. Not 'working', but keeping an eye on things.

The tracker groups IDs so each fortnight we review the same sections. And there'll be quick group check-ins on Zoom for questions/feedback. After a year we'll be in better shape, then the cycle continues.

The goals

Maintain a 'comfortable awareness' of every aspect of the business. Eliminate hidden mess and nasty surprises. And keep each other honest by following the tracker together.

If this business review cycle proves useful, it might get built into JDHQ in the future. But for now, it's an experiment.
